What You'll Do5
- 1Own backend product capabilities end to end across authentication identity service accounts key controls secure networking compliance observability and operational workflows
- 2Partner with Product go-to-market security and infrastructure teams to identify needs shape roadmaps and lead large cross functional projects from design through launch
- 3Design developer facing APIs system behavior configuration error handling safe defaults auditing and notifications with attention to detail
- 4Build operate and debug highly reliable backend systems spanning databases streaming infrastructure request routing and distributed services
- 5Lead large cross functional initiatives influence product direction align engineering product go-to-market security and infrastructure partners and translate ambiguous needs into clear technical decisions
Requirements5
- 15+ years professional engineering experience in backend platform or product driven roles
- 2Proficiency in Python Go Rust TypeScript or similar with strong software design systems fundamentals
- 3Experience with distributed systems databases streaming systems request routing authentication identity networking or enterprise platform controls
- 4Strong communication and developer empathy demonstrated through collaboration with product partners and users
- 5Opinions about reliability DevOps and operational excellence combined with meticulous attention to detail
