What You'll Do6
- 1Treat conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck, including nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis.
- 2Diagnose and manage patients with limited or altered sense of smell, providing targeted interventions and follow-up care.
- 3Evaluate and treat tumors in the head or neck, coordinating with oncologists and radiologists for comprehensive management.
- 4Collaborate with other medical practitioners to develop integrated treatment plans for complex cases.
- 5Build lasting relationships with patients and provide emotional support to their families throughout treatment journeys.
- 6Document patient histories, exam findings, and treatment outcomes in EHR systems, ensuring accurate and timely records.
Requirements7
- 1Active NY State License.
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
- 3MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- 4Completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
- 5Experience treating a broad range of ENT conditions, including sinusitis, tonsillitis, and head and neck tumors.
- 6Strong surgical skills in endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, and myringotomy.
- 7Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interaction.
