Engagement Coordinator at HomeGoods owns the frontline customer experience in a busy Boston store. What You'll Do12

  • 1Train and mentor associates on register transactions and company policies to build high-performing teams.
  • 2Drive customer loyalty through programs and initiatives that create a highly-satisfied shopping experience.
  • 3Address customer concerns and issues promptly, escalating to management when needed.
  • 4Maintain and monitor cash controls, including the change fund, to ensure accuracy and security.
  • 5Assign registers and coordinate breaks to ensure optimized coverage at the frontline and sales floor.
  • 6Audit and approve paperwork, including cashier transactions and daily reports.
  • 7Maintain cleanliness, recovery, and organizational standards throughout the frontline area.
  • 8Monitor frontline equipment, reporting any issues to management for timely resolution.
  • 9Execute company directives and uphold merchandising standards within the queue-line.
  • 10Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention policies, including merchandise ticketing and EAS tagging.
  • 11Ensure proper and timely handling of damages and mark out of stock items.
  • 12Promote a safe environment by reporting any safety hazards in the store.

Requirements10

  • 1High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
  • 2Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • 3Able to work as a team member.
  • 4Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • 5Exceptional customer service skills.
  • 6Able to lift heavy merchandise with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • 7Able to train and provide direction to others.
  • 8Able to run a register and handle money.
  • 9Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • 10Experience as a coordinator or previous retail or supervisory experience preferred.
