Overview
Own embedded C++ software for flight management systems at scale within a safety-critical environment. You will contribute to HMI MCDU applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and follow DO-178C processes. What You'll Do7
- 1Build and maintain embedded C++ software for flight-related systems in compliance with DO-178C
- 2Design and modify HMI MCDU components for the Flight Management System
- 3Debug and verify CR-driven changes across aerospace software
- 4Analyze issues and troubleshoot embedded applications in a safety-critical context
- 5Collaborate with engineers to implement system requirements and software updates
- 6Participate in the Change Request lifecycle from analysis through verification
- 7Support flight software development and debugging activities within regulatory standards
Requirements8
- 13–8 years of professional software development experience
- 2Strong Embedded C++ programming skills
- 3Hands-on experience in the FMS domain
- 4Experience developing software for HMI MCDU systems
- 5Experience with flight software development and debugging
- 6Understanding of aerospace/avionics software processes
- 7Knowledge of DO-178C is highly preferred/required
- 8Excellent analytical, debugging, and teamwork skills
Salary Insight
$130 - $135k per year
