What You'll Do9
- 1Build and deliver daily third‑grade and fifth‑grade math sessions using the Thinking Math! curriculum
- 2Design and execute PE lessons for TK, 2‑3, and 4‑5 classes to foster physical and social‑emotional development
- 3Align math instruction with California state standards and the new California math framework
- 4Monitor student progress and differentiate instruction to meet varied ability levels
- 5Collaborate with core teachers and staff to integrate curriculum and support student needs
- 6Participate in the school’s math pilot team and ongoing professional development
- 7Maintain accurate records and prepare standards‑based report cards each trimester
- 8Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities
- 9Foster a positive school culture through inclusive practices and community engagement
Requirements6
- 1Valid CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and English Learner Authorization (CLAD)
- 2Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 4Strong proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required
- 5Ability to implement flexible instructional methods and diverse materials
- 6Experience with project‑based learning and assessment aligned to Common Core and CA math framework
