What You'll Do8

  • 1Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial job sites using National Electrical Code standards.
  • 2Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues with multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
  • 3Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan installations.
  • 4Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
  • 5Adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, and maintain a clean work area.
  • 6Mentor apprentices and junior electricians on proper techniques and code compliance.
  • 7Complete work orders and documentation accurately using mobile apps and paper forms.
  • 8Respond to emergency callbacks and perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.

Requirements8

  • 1Valid Utah Electrical License (Apprentice, Journeyman, or Master).
  • 21+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • 3Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • 4Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local amendments.
  • 5Proficient with hand and power tools, including multimeters, voltage testers, and pipe benders.
  • 6Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • 7Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
  • 8Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
