Electrical Supervisor Amrize
Overview
Amrize builds North America infrastructure and seeks an Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance at the Midlothian Cement Plant. You will keep the Electrical Superintendent informed of department issues develop and maintain control systems prioritize preventive maintenance and lead improvement initiatives. This role differs by focusing on large scale plant operations and direct leadership of electrical teams.
What You'll Do9
- 1Plan schedule and oversee electrical maintenance activities to maximize equipment utilization and reliability
- 2Develop and maintain electrical and computer control systems with predictive preventive maintenance programs
- 3Conduct daily monitoring of plant electrical equipment through physical inspections and process monitoring
- 4Prioritize schedule assign electrical and control system work and coordinate with other departments
- 5Follow up on work effectiveness and initiate corrective measures
- 6Maintain comprehensive electrical documentation including equipment files and repair history
- 7Define and implement process control programs provide control system training for staff
- 8Actively manage improvement activities and support capital expenditure projects
- 9Demonstrate commitment to health safety and environmental policies promote safety culture
Requirements8
- 15+ years electrical supervision and project experience with PLC programming and HMI systems
- 2Bachelor`s degree or 8 years equivalent experience in engineering field
- 3Minimum 5 years electrical supervision and project experience
- 4Residence within 10 percent of Midlothian TX location
- 5Clean shaven requirement for respirator use
- 6Proficiency with SAP and MS Office
- 7Experience with Amrize approved PPE standards
- 8Familiarity with electrical documentation practices
