Electrical Service Technician Raleigh NC
Overview
Lead onsite electrical services technician operating a service vehicle for Onsite Electrical Services. Provide support and training to team members while focusing on customer satisfaction quality and safety. Work locally across surrounding cities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assemble install test and maintain electrical wiring conduit cable equipment components and devices per blueprints
- 2Install test troubleshoot and maintain EMS systems smart breakers electronic controls panels sensors and components
- 3Inspect installation sites study work orders building plans and installation manuals to determine materials and procedures
- 4Test electrical systems continuity of circuits using test devices
- 5Diagnose malfunctioning systems apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct issues
- 6Direct and train workers to install maintain or repair electrical wiring equipment and fixtures
- 7Operate company vehicle software and engage directly with customers
- 8Pass background check and drug test
- 9Maintain valid driver's license and excellent driving record
- 10Wear OSHA approved boots and shirts covering shoulders by seven inches
- 11Report to work on time collaborate with employees and maintain safe work environment
Requirements10
- 1Three to five years electrical service industry experience with service technician role operating company vehicle and software
- 2Background check and drug test clearance
- 3High school diploma or GED
- 4Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 5Ability to translate meter readings using megger phase rotation circuit tracers underground locators voltage ohm and amp testers
- 6Familiarity with smartphones tablets and web based applications
- 7Experience handling sales transactions work orders quotes logs and company vehicles
- 8Commitment to excellence generating high quality work
- 9OSHA approved boots and shirts covering shoulders by seven inches
- 10Reliability punctuality teamwork and commitment to safety
