Electrical Project Engineer On-Site
Overview
We seek an Electrical Project Engineer who will own engineering calculations and system design. You will exercise judgment with minimal supervision and lead independent decisions. This role offers a fast‑paced environment where you can make an impact.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform engineering calculations and layout designs per code and policy
- 2Apply practical knowledge to resolve project conflicts
- 3Lead independent decision‑making for assigned engineering tasks
- 4Supervise junior designers and mentor senior staff
- 5Implement selected system types and deliver full construction documents
- 6Review and finalize engineering designs with cross‑disciplinary teams
- 7Conduct quality assurance and coordinate with technical managers
- 8Prepare design budgets and schedules in collaboration with project leadership
- 9Provide client contact and liaise throughout project lifecycle
- 10Mentor and motivate engineering designers I I and III
- 11Maintain professional integrity and meet aggressive deadlines
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
- 3Current licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 4Knowledge of discipline specific codes and building codes
- 5Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 6Strong leadership abilities to educate clients on design requirements
- 7Proficiency with REVIT and advanced engineering modeling tools
- 8Ability to research, write reports, and produce clear documentation
- 9Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities
- 10Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- 11Commitment to continuous learning and industry certifications
