Electrical Engineer/Designer - Revit Smart Schedules
Overview
Design and analyze electrical systems for diverse projects while leading multiple initiatives. This role drives technical excellence and sustainability integration. You will shape project outcomes and collaborate across disciplines.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution lighting telecommunications security fire alarm systems renewable energy solutions
- 2Create detailed construction documentation floor plans one-line diagrams smart schedules
- 3Integrate sustainable practices renewable energy into LEED-certified projects
- 4Manage concurrent projects ensuring quality timelines and budgets
- 5Collaborate with MEP engineers architects structural civil contractors and clients
- 6Review designs for compliance with NFPA NEC IBC ASHRAE 90.1 and local regulations
- 7Conduct load calculations budget estimations and on-site surveys
- 8Analyze contractor bids review submittals and provide technical support during construction
- 9Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- 10Lead engineering analyses and drive project success
Requirements5
- 15+ years electrical engineering experience building design with BSEE or 10 years without BSEE
- 2Proficiency in Revit strong understanding of low and medium voltage conduit routing load calculations
- 3EIT or PE certification specific VA project experience
- 4Open to healthcare higher education multi-family science technology government projects
- 5Business casual dress code hybrid work after 90 days
