What You'll Do9
- 1Assemble install test and maintain electrical equipment using hand and power tools following best practices
- 2Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures using ohm meter volt meter amp probe and megger
- 3Install conduits pull wire and make final connections to circuit breakers pumps dispensers POS consoles tank monitors and lighting
- 4Inspect electrical systems to verify compliance with safety codes and manufacturer requirements
- 5Advise management customers and coworkers about hazards and safe operation practices
- 6Collaborate with estimators on material take‑off cost analysis and labor allowances
- 7Lift 75–100 lbs when necessary during daily tasks
- 8Work outdoors in all weather conditions while meeting tight deadlines
- 9Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and adhere to all internal procedures
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 22–3 years apprenticeship experience with no journeyman card required
- 3Knowledge of electrician standards and codes
- 4Ability to lift 75–100 lbs
- 5Reliable dependable worker with strong communication skills
