Overview
We seek an experienced Elder Abuse Litigation Attorney to lead litigation for vulnerable individuals and families. This role involves managing complex cases from pre-suit through trial while collaborating with support staff and experts to achieve strong client outcomes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Manage elder abuse and related litigation matters from pre-suit through trial
- 2Draft pleadings motions discovery requests and legal briefs
- 3Conduct and defend depositions attend hearings mediations arbitrations trials
- 4Review and analyze medical records facility records and related evidence
- 5Collaborate with expert witnesses and litigation support professionals
- 6Develop litigation strategy and case valuation assessments
- 7Prepare pre-trial filings witness materials and trial exhibits
- 8Work closely with paralegals case managers and support staff
- 9Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments
- 10Advocate aggressively while maintaining exceptional client service standards
Requirements7
- 1Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- 2Significant litigation experience with ability to independently manage high-volume caseload
- 3Experience handling plaintiff-side elder abuse neglect and wrongful death matters
- 4Familiarity with elder abuse statutes and related claims involving pressure injuries falls dehydration sepsis medication errors
- 5Strong deposition mediation motions practice courtroom skills
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- 7Commitment to client advocacy professionalism and meaningful results
