EDI Analyst
Overview
EDI Analyst supports implementation and maintenance of Electronic Data Interchange systems partnering with vendors Accounting Pricebook and IT teams. This role ensures accurate and efficient data exchange contributing to streamlined operations and enhanced business performance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Coordinate vendor setup for EDI invoicing across the U.S. and Canada collaborating with Accounting Pricebook and IT teams to ensure seamless integration
- 2Advise on technical specifications test and certify new vendor implementations troubleshoot issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- 3Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to address process issues manage testing schedules and support go-live activities
- 4Configure the electronic invoice processing system to meet the needs of vendors and stores during onboarding and integration
- 5Assist in the testing and certification of program changes to the electronic invoice processing system ensuring compliance with change management standards
- 6Provide technical specifications to vendors and communicate technical advice related to incorrect configuration of data included in EDI formats
- 7Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues including error processing data discrepancies and system anomalies reported by IT Stores Accounting or AP teams
- 8Analyze and document root causes of EDI failures to improve future integrations
- 9Maintain detailed documentation of EDI workflows and configurations
- 10Lead training sessions for store staff on EDI processes and system usage
- 11Monitor EDI transaction volumes and identify trends to optimize performance
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s degree in accounting or information systems
- 23 to 5+ years of relevant experience in Pricebook Accounting IT or EDI-related roles
- 3Ability to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines tailoring messaging to the audience
- 4Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- 5Knowledge of PDI Enterprise (preferred)
- 6Bilingual proficiency in French or English (asset)
