Overview
We seek a skilled Web Developer specializing in Shopify to lead creation of high-performance e-commerce sites. This role bridges creative design and technical execution delivering seamless responsive experiences. You will drive end-to-end development while collaborating across teams to achieve growth objectives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design build and maintain responsive websites using Shopify ensuring brand alignment and project requirements
- 2Translate UI/UX designs into functional high-fidelity web pages
- 3Customize themes templates and CMS structures to meet client needs
- 4Optimize site performance improve load speeds and guarantee cross-browser compatibility
- 5Collaborate with designers content creators and marketing teams to integrate assets and features
- 6Troubleshoot technical issues manage bug fixes and deploy updates
- 7Configure third party integrations like marketing automation ERPs and analytics tools
- 8Track performance metrics to deliver data driven insights
- 9Advocate for internal web standards documentation and best practices
- 10Maintain clean code with Git and debug solutions
- 11Apply design sensibility covering layout typography accessibility and UX
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Strong proficiency in Shopify and other e-commerce platforms
- 3Experience with front-end frameworks and back-end fundamentals
- 4Knowledge of product catalogs cart logic checkout flows and payment gateways
- 5Degree in Computer Science Web Development or related field preferred
- 6Portfolio showcasing e-commerce projects
- 7Certification such as AWS Certified or CPC Card
- 8Ability to work in Santa Monica onsite environment
- 9Commitment to continuous learning and problem solving
- 10Excellent communication skills for cross disciplinary collaboration
