Overview
You own drywall and paint restoration for a residential home services leader in metro Atlanta. You patch, texture, and paint to make walls flawless after electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work. You work with TE Certified electricians and plumbers, reporting to the repair lead, with a stocked truck and a steady flow of projects. This role includes training in new skills and a clear path to grow, with full benefits and a take-home truck.
What You'll Do8
- 1Patch holes, cracks, and damage in drywall, using tape, mud, and texture to match the original surface.
- 2Paint touch-ups on repaired areas, blending color and sheen to hide any trace of work.
- 3Replace trim and attic stairs with basic carpentry skills, ensuring a clean, secure fit.
- 4Coordinate with dispatch and customers to schedule repairs and prioritize by project timeline.
- 5Stock and maintain your service truck with drywall tools, mud, tape, and paint to handle any job.
- 6Protect the customer's home with drop cloths, tape, and plastic to keep the work area clean.
- 7Document each repair with photos and notes for the customer and internal records.
- 8Oversee larger outsourced projects to keep quality consistent with TE standards.
Requirements10
- 14+ years in drywall repair and finishing, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing.
- 2Proven ability to paint and match finish, and perform minor carpentry like trim or molding.
- 3Strong tool skills: use knives, trowels, sanding blocks, paint brushes, and rollers to a professional standard.
- 4A clean, organized approach that respects the customer's home and belongings.
- 5Good communication skills to explain repair plans and coordinate with the team.
- 6A valid driver's license and clean record, with willingness to drive a company truck across metro Atlanta.
- 7Physical stamina to climb ladders, lift up to 45 lbs, and work in active construction areas.
- 8Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- 9Must pass a drug test and background check.
- 10Live within a 1-hour commute from Roswell, GA.
