The Drop & Count Clerk manages currency collection and processing for accurate reporting. This role ensures compliance with gaming regulations while supporting operational efficiency.
What You'll Do11
- 1Open remove and secure currency from slot machines and table games
- 2Adhere to Drop/Count policies and procedures
- 3Accurately count slot machine currency drop and tickets
- 4Operate electronic currency counter/sorter and New Wave ticket counter equipment
- 5Record currency from each bill acceptor and table game box on the electronic currency counter
- 6Prepare and bundle currency drop for verification
- 7Separate slot ticket and currency from gaming machines
- 8Perform chip count for Poker Room
- 9Create various reports on the count and enter into computerized online accounting system
- 10Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or variances
- 11Maintain confidential information and ensure area cleanliness
Requirements11
- 1Ability to read write hear and speak clearly and handle money accurately
- 2Proficiency entering information into computer systems and using a printer
- 3Basic document writing skills
- 4Understanding of color distinction
- 5Experience with 10 key calculator
- 6Capacity to perform duties under frequent time pressures
- 7High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 8Compliance with state gaming regulations including possible licensing
- 9Physical ability to stoop bend and squat lift up to 75 lbs
- 10Strength to pull/push up to 75 lbs with assistance
- 11Willingness to stand and walk throughout shift
