Join our dynamic team as a Driver/Server/Mobile Barista leading our Travelin’s Tom’s Coffee & Beverage Truck experience on the move! In this energetic role you’ll deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of hot iced frozen beverages shaved ice and smoothies while managing retail sales transactions and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Your enthusiasm and efficiency will help create memorable moments for our customers as you navigate between locations providing top-notch service with a smile. This position offers an exciting blend of customer service sales skills and running a mobile beverage or shaved ice and smoothie truck making every day engaging and rewarding.
What You'll Do7
- 1Safely operate company vehicles to deliver beverages and supplies to various locations maintaining adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- 2Prepare a wide range of beverages including hot iced frozen coffee teas lemonades refreshers matcha ciders and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency
- 3Prepare shaved ice and smoothies (Kona)
- 4Serve customers efficiently at designated locations ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- 5Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems handling cash and card payments with attention to detail
- 6Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by regularly cleaning equipment utensils and work areas in compliance with food handling regulations
- 7Manage time effectively to ensure timely service to different venues during busy periods while balancing multiple responsibilities
Requirements8
- 1Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred barista experience is a plus
- 2Proficiency with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- 3Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- 4Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- 5Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- 6Valid driver’s license must be 19+ years old and have a clean driving record comfortable navigating city streets or designated routes
- 7Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- 8Physical ability to stand walk lift moderate loads and perform cleaning duties regularly
