Driver License Technician Trainee
Overview
The CDOR seeks a motivated individual to join the Driver License Technician Trainee team in Centennial. This role involves ensuring compliance with state laws while supporting customers through document issuance and testing processes. What You'll Do9
- 1Interact directly with customers to clarify eligibility requirements
- 2Process computer generated driver licenses and identification documents
- 3Administer written and oral examinations for various license classes
- 4Qualify applicants by evaluating source documents and identifying fraud
- 5Maintain cash registers and balance receipts for all transactions
- 6Collect payments and verify financial documentation
- 7Ensure adherence to Colorado Revised Statutes and federal guidelines
- 8Collaborate with supervisors to maintain operational efficiency
- 9Support the Division of Motor Vehicles in delivering reliable services
Requirements10
- 1Resident of Colorado with valid driver's license
- 2Minimum 1 year customer service experience or equivalent coursework
- 3Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem solving
- 4Strong written communication and data entry abilities
- 5Experience handling cash and balancing receipts
- 6Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
- 7Commitment to public trust and ethical standards
