Overview
Drive daily routes in Bay Area and San Jose. Manually operate EV while maintaining data collection integrity. Ensure system uptime and perform basic hardware troubleshooting. Support a data collection project with flexibility in shifts. This role differs by focusing on manual EV operation and hardware support.
What You'll Do10
- 1Follow precise routes to collect data using an EV for up to 8 hours per day
- 2Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-trip inspections of cameras LiDAR and secondary sensors
- 3Perform basic field maintenance such as power-cycling systems and reseating data connectors
- 4Log and upload sensor data according to project requirements
- 5Document system anomalies hardware issues or environmental observations
- 6Maintain high focus during repetitive tasks and follow complex instructions
- 7Operate Electric Vehicles and interact with hardware and software
- 8Update structured documentation in Google Workspace
- 9Communicate technical issues to engineering teams
- 10Work flexible hours including nights days and weekends
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading field data collection projects
- 3Google Workspace proficiency
- 4Linux command-line basics
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 6Experience with EVs
- 7Strong written communication for technical logging
- 8Background in field technician or IT support
- 9Experience with mapping or fleet operations
