Overview
True Rock seeks a DOT Compliance Specialist to manage fleet and drivers ensuring regulatory compliance. This role supports road and highway construction operations while maintaining safety standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage DOT processes including 2290s IFTA MC150 and UCR
- 2File and renew IRP cab cards and quarterly IFTA fuel taxes
- 3Handle citations corrections for drivers weight and overweight issues
- 4Oversee driver qualification files for CDL and Non-CDL drivers
- 5Ensure compliance for heavy equipment oversize loads
- 6Conduct CDL Orientation and DOT HazMat training
- 7Oversee SAP Program and Random Drug Testing schedules
- 8Coordinate with Logistics Division for safety standards
- 9Travel between multiple job sites and work outdoors
- 10Assist HR with hiring CDL drivers during onboarding
- 11Perform incident investigations and root-cause analysis
Requirements10
- 1Thorough understanding of DOT regulations FMCSRs
- 24+ years DOT compliance experience in road or highway construction
- 3Strong communication skills with field crews
- 4Ability to work extended hours nights weekends
- 5Valid driver’s license
- 6OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred
- 7Familiarity with DOT MUTCD and work-zone traffic control
- 8Bilingual English Spanish a plus
- 9Physical ability to walk uneven terrain and lift 50 lbs occasionally
- 10Experience with incident investigations and root-cause analysis
