Overview
We seek an experienced Door and Hardware Technician to join our growing team in Central NJ. You will install architectural grade doors frames and hardware following field supervisor guidance. This role offers immediate impact in a small company where you can excel.
What You'll Do10
- 1Install architectural grade doors frames and hardware per supervisor directions
- 2Work independently and with installers to place Division 8 products
- 3Handle advanced installations of technical products
- 4Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and warranty terms
- 5Log time and materials for each project
- 6Maintain equipment and report malfunctions
- 7Train entry level staff on installation techniques
- 8Follow all company policies and provide customer service
- 9Attend training sessions on new building materials
- 10Perform tasks such as reading measurements using tools and communicating instructions
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- 2Some prior installation experience with doors frames and hardware or Division 10 products
- 3Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
- 4Physical stamina to stand kneel crouch stoop and lift 25-50 pounds
- 5Strong interpersonal skills and written verbal communication abilities
