Overview
Lead 5-10 Jimmy John's locations across Pittsburgh, PA, owning P&L, team development, and brand compliance. You supervise General Managers, drive same-store sales growth, and partner with Regional Managers on market strategy. This role stands apart with direct influence over new store openings and a clear path to Regional Manager.
What You'll Do8
- 1Coach General Managers on Jimmy John's operations, sales tactics, and team engagement to hit location targets
- 2Own P&L for all stores, controlling food costs, labor, and revenue growth
- 3Run daily store visits to check food safety and brand standards, then coach staff in real time
- 4Open 2-3 new locations per year, coordinating with construction and marketing for on-time launches
- 5Lead monthly manager meetings to review QSR metrics and set action plans
- 6Partner with HR to hire, promote, and performance-manage store leadership
- 7Launch local marketing campaigns with the Jimmy John's brand team to boost order volume
- 8Resolve customer and employee issues with urgency, keeping turnover under 40%
Requirements6
- 12+ years as District or Area Manager in food service or retail
- 22+ years managing multiple locations with direct P&L accountability
- 3Proven track record developing General Managers and driving sales growth
- 4Strong analytical skills for P&L reviews and cost control
- 5Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between stores
- 6Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
