Dispatcher, Healthcare Logistics & Respiratory Orders
Overview
Own scheduling and supervision of all respiratory orders, oxygen deliveries, pick-ups, and disposable supplies for safe patient services at scale. Lead coordination with vendors, internal teams, and drivers to ensure timely, compliant operations. Be the backbone of daily logistics in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and manage weekly on-call and delivery schedules to meet patient needs
- 2Ship and track oxygen refills, equipment deliveries, and pickups with MS Excel and routing plans
- 3Drive QA by reviewing driver paperwork, maintenance logs, and route sheets for accuracy
- 4Own vehicle maintenance coordination and back-up driving when needed to ensure uninterrupted service
- 5Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Vendors to resolve equipment defects and recalls in the field
- 6Supervise delivery routes and loading of HME, medical supplies, and oxygen tanks onto trucks
- 7Prioritize same-day deliveries and optimize pickup of rental equipment and oxygen tanks
- 8Inspect and ensure proper handling of rental equipment and adherence to policies
- 9Support preventive maintenance and field repairs on rental equipment and vehicles
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 22 years dispatching experience preferred
- 3Ability to re-prioritize quickly in a fast-paced, highly stressful environment
- 4Strong verbal and written communication, administrative, organizational, and leadership skills
- 5Proficient with MS Excel and computer systems
- 6Knowledge of medical equipment and maintenance
- 7Familiarity with geography of New Jersey, New York, Brooklyn, and Staten Island NY
- 8Must be able to lift and move items up to 25 pounds occasionally
