Overview
Director of Sales leads the regional sales, revenue management, and operations teams for a boutique hotel portfolio with a focus on STILE Downtown LA by Kasa. This role shapes commercial strategy, creates scalable playbooks, and drives profitable growth across leisure, corporate, BT, groups, and SMERF segments. You will partner closely with Rev Management and Technology to position Kasa as the premier group and corporate stay option. You will build and coach a high-performing sales engine in a fast-growing hospitality tech-enabled environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and execute a segmented go-to-market plan for STILE Downtown LA by Kasa that delivers revenue targets across all segments
- 2Design and implement a scalable sales operating system with territories KPIs and enablement that improves productivity and forecast accuracy
- 3Lead negotiation of corporate and group contracts including RFPs MSA terms and performance reviews to protect profitability
- 4Own the end-to-end sales motion from prospecting to contracting in a boutique hotel context leveraging automation and data
- 5Coach and develop Sales Managers Revenue Management and Reservations teams to raise activity quality and win rates
- 6Drive partnerships and creative packaging with high-impact stakeholders to unlock new revenue streams
- 7Scale playbooks and onboarding programs to extend learnings to other markets across the portfolio
- 8Build executive-level relationships with corporate travel managers TMCs event planners relocation firms and partners
- 9Shape market perception through brand-forward voice and strategic community partnerships
- 10Collaborate with technology and product teams to leverage data and distribution for growth
Requirements10
- 1Proven track record leading hotel or hospitality sales teams to exceed targets across corporate BT group and SMERF segments
- 2Deep experience building and managing pipelines in CRM with disciplined forecasting and stage definitions
- 3Strong understanding of hotel distribution pricing levers and revenue management fundamentals; comfortable partnering daily with Rev Management
- 4Working knowledge of hotel reservation systems and sales tech stack with ability to implement scalable processes
- 5Market builder in Los Angeles with ability to extend learnings to other markets
- 6Experience crafting playbooks onboarding sellers and raising activity and win rates
- 7Skilled at leading rate negotiations and corporate agreements end to end including RFPs MSA terms and performance reviews
- 8Experience operating in a tech-enabled high-growth startup environment a plus
- 9Ability to translate portfolio revenue targets into segment channel and territory plans and establish weekly operating rhythms
- 10Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business hospitality or a related field
