Director of Global Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting
Overview
cpa professional with global financial leadership experience in big 4 and public companies to drive accounting policy, consolidation, and SEC reporting across international operations. Lead and train global teams on US GAAP and international standards. Travel as needed to support global reporting and audits.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and lead global technical accounting strategy and policy development across regions
- 2Design and oversee global financial statement consolidation and US GAAP/SEC compliance
- 3Lead quarterly and annual reporting processes with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery
- 4Provide primary support on technical accounting matters including white papers and training
- 5Drive continuous improvement and stay current on US GAAP, international standards, and regulatory changes
- 6Support annual audit and quarterly review with auditors on relevant technical accounting matters
- 7Oversee controls over financial reporting and strengthen global reporting infrastructure
- 8Foster international collaboration and formalize accounting policies with the Controller’s organization
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s preferred
- 2CPA certification required
- 312+ years accounting experience in BIG 4 and public companies
- 4Strong knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 842, and purchase price allocations
- 5Extensive international accounting and financial reporting experience
- 6Excellent communication and leadership skills
- 7Proven ability to manage global financial statement consolidation methodologies
