Overview

Lead the Medical Information function to scale operations, content, and digital capabilities supporting Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial readiness at Xenon. Own end-to-end MI strategy, contact center operations, and scientific content management across a multi-site, matrix organization. Drive data-driven decisions, scalability, and compliant interactions with healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders. This role blends scientific rigor with operational excellence to deliver high-quality, timely medical information for a growing neuroscience portfolio.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Provide strategic direction and governance for the MI function including contact center operations, digital capabilities, and content management to support commercialization readiness
  • 2Build scalable operating models with SOPs, workflows, and governance in collaboration with Legal, PV/DS, Quality, Clin Dev, and Med Affairs
  • 3Lead authoring and lifecycle management of Standard Response Letters and scientific content ensuring alignment with clinical data and regulatory requirements
  • 4Oversee MI vendor management and performance, including training, QA, and continuous improvement of contact center and content support
  • 5Develop and manage a Medical Information portal for compliant self-service access to approved content and ensure accurate forecasting of budget and resources
  • 6Drive omnichannel MI delivery and integration with enterprise systems to enable efficient, compliant inquiry handling and analytics
  • 7Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Scientific Communications to ensure accurate, consistent scientific messaging
  • 8Ensure high-quality responses through content authoring, review and MLR processes and maintain a robust content library
  • 9Oversee day-to-day inquiry management, escalation pathways, and regulatory-compliant handling of medical inquiries
  • 10Monitor KPIs, dashboards, and risk management to translate data into actionable insights for leadership

Requirements9

  • 1PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent advanced scientific degree
  • 27+ years of management experience in Medical Affairs with at least 5+ years in Medical Information
  • 3Proven experience executing and optimizing Medical Information functions in pre-commercial or commercial settings
  • 4Strong expertise in scientific response content authoring, inquiry management, and MLR review processes
  • 5Experience engaging with and managing MI contact centers and external vendors
  • 6Deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for MI reporting (FDA, EMA)
  • 7Excellent cross-functional collaboration and project management skills
  • 8Neuroscience experience preferred; epilepsy experience a plus
  • 9Willingness to travel up to 15-20% domestically and internationally
