The Director of U.S. Access Marketing leads brand and therapeutic area focused marketing campaigns for Alexion’s U.S. portfolio. This role develops and deploys in-market and launch campaigns across diverse customer segments. Responsibilities include managing budgets, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and optimizing access through omni channel strategies. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in managed care marketing and a proven track record of driving strategic outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead development and management of the US managed care marketing plan for assigned products in close collaboration with access strategy leads
- 2Develop marketing programs tools and resources legal medical and regulatory review and approval process training and roll out of approved materials to customer facing account and field reimbursement teams
- 3Create payer value narrative and related materials ensuring alignment with franchise messaging and access stakeholders
- 4Design targeted marketing campaigns using omni channel techniques to engage customers and supplement traditional efforts
- 5Collaborate with Access Strategy Lead HEOR brand clinical and account teams to shape value messages and design pre-approval information exchange materials
- 6Manage payer marketing budget and oversee agency and external vendor relationships
- 7Conduct market research and message testing to evaluate marketing material effectiveness
- 8Facilitate field input sessions to gather feedback from account and reimbursement teams aligning materials with customer insights
- 9Design targeted marketing materials for channel accounts addressing specific concerns and optimizing gross-to-net metrics
- 10Partner with data analytics teams to refine targeting and identify high engagement opportunities
- 11Report progress and strategic insights to senior leadership through data-driven recommendations
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area of study or 5+ years U.S. managed care experience in a competitive market place
- 27+ years pharmaceutical marketing experience
- 3Proven ability to develop U.S. access marketing materials
- 4Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis of strategic initiatives
- 5Understanding of U.S. commercial and government payer business models and reimbursement methodologies
- 6Cross-functional collaboration skills within matrix environments communicating complex data to senior leaders
- 7Ability to conduct market research and analyze customer feedback
- 8MBA MPH or advanced degree preferred
- 9Experience with rare disease medicines or launch marketing
- 10Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- 11Travel willingness up to 15% as required
