Catholic Charities of Baltimore seeks a Director IT & Security to lead cybersecurity strategy protecting agency data while aligning with business goals. This hybrid role offers 3 days in office 2 days remote overseeing IT functions and compliance committees.
What You'll Do16
- 1Ensure adequate information security protection and risk management for Agency data with accountability for security controls and compliance assessments
- 2Develop and manage security frameworks processes and tools enabling risk-based decisions and stakeholder accountability
- 3Conduct regular risk assessments vulnerability tests and mitigation strategies
- 4Manage security incidents investigate breaches and implement corrective actions
- 5Maintain subject matter expertise on industry trends threats and technologies
- 6Develop and manage security policies procedures integrate security into new system designs collaborate with programs
- 7Lead security awareness programs educate employees foster security culture
- 8Manage vendor relationships ensure effective security controls
- 9Lead cybersecurity strategy technology roadmap assess existing and emerging technologies
- 10Oversee endpoint protection strategy for all Agency computing systems
- 11Manage compliance for HIPAA ISO27001 CISA GDPR PCI DSS
- 12Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on security posture
- 13Lead IT disaster recovery initiatives develop policies and test them
- 14Provide technical training mentorship to IT colleagues
- 15Co-lead technology architecture decisions across application and network domains
- 16Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field with combination of education and experience
- 25+ years designing security solutions including technical and non-technical components
- 310+ years IT experience covering infrastructure cloud hybrid networking and end user computing
- 4Proven IT security technical leadership with successful program implementation
- 5Strong knowledge of GDPR HIPAA ISO 27001 risk management methodologies
- 6Familiarity with project management principles
- 7Excellent communication skills written verbal attention to detail multitasking ability
- 8CISSP CISM or CISA certification preferred
- 9Knowledge of Aruba Wireless ClearPass Watchguard technologies cloud computing AI cybersecurity data analytics
- 10Ability to use Windows PC web browsers Microsoft Outlook and other Office applications
- 11Physical requirements sedentary work adjustable desks standing occasional movement repetitive wrist hand finger motions
