What You'll Do8
- 1Assist clients with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- 2Support mobility by helping clients walk, transfer, and perform physical therapy exercises.
- 3Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.
- 4Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks.
- 5Dispense medications accurately and on schedule, following care plans.
- 6Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being.
- 7Accompany clients to errands and shopping trips, ensuring their safety.
- 8Document care activities and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a similar role.
- 2Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- 3Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cooking skills.
- 4Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- 5Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- 6Capability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
