Overview

As a Digital Network Exploitation Analyst, you will own the discovery and analysis of target technologies within digital networks and mobile communications. You will dissect metadata, identify target communications, and map global networks to expose vulnerabilities. Working within NSA's cybersecurity and intelligence operations, you will collaborate with a team of analysts and engineers to protect national interests. What You'll Do7

  • 1Map global network topologies and identify target communication paths using TCP/IP and other protocols.
  • 2Analyze metadata from network traffic to uncover patterns and anomalies in target communications.
  • 3Perform vulnerability analysis on discovered networks and mobile systems, documenting findings for intelligence products.
  • 4Engineer and deploy custom tools to automate network exploitation tasks, leveraging Python or C++.
  • 5Debug and refine exploitation techniques in live network environments, ensuring operational success.
  • 6Collaborate with internal teams to align analysis with customer requirements and evolving threats.
  • 7Document target profiles and network structures for continued operational reference.

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with coursework in algorithms, data structures, and mathematics.
  • 23+ years in computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, or network administration (or Master's with 1+ year).
  • 35+ years with Associate's degree and in-depth relevant experience for Full Performance level.
  • 46+ years with Bachelor's or 4+ years with Master's for Senior level.
  • 5Hands-on experience with C, C++, Java, Assembly, or Python for programming tasks.
  • 6Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, VOIP, and wireless protocols.
  • 7Experience with LAN and WAN architectures and internet routing principles.
  • 8Completion of military training like JCAC counts toward experience.
