Digital Content Designer NFL | THE·TEAM Los Angeles
Overview
You will lead visual storytelling for @the.team.nfl, shaping the social presence for THE·TEAM's football talent across high school, college, and the NFL. Reporting to the creative lead, you will design social graphics, infographics, and short-form video for a roster of athletes and brand partners. You will collaborate with social, marketing, and talent teams to translate player milestones into social-first creative. This role offers the chance to define the visual identity for a major sports platform, working across draft, gameday, and partnership content. If you combine Adobe Creative Suite mastery with a deep understanding of football culture, you will make an immediate impact.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design social graphics and infographics that turn player moments and client wins into compelling stories for @the.team.nfl.
- 2Build and maintain a consistent visual system across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels using Photoshop and Illustrator.
- 3Create motion graphics and short-form video assets in After Effects and Premiere Pro for player announcements and gameday content.
- 4Drive the visual direction for key football moments, including the NFL Draft, free agency, and the Super Bowl.
- 5Collaborate with social and talent teams to match creative with athlete narratives and brand goals.
- 6Translate sports data and insights into easy-to-digest graphics that position THE·TEAM as an industry leader.
- 7Deliver high-quality designs on tight deadlines in a fast-paced sports environment, balancing creativity with clarity.
- 8Ensure all creative aligns with the broader THE·TEAM brand while establishing a distinct voice for the NFL account.
- 9Use Asana to track projects and communicate proactively across teams.
- 10Explore design trends and platform behaviors to keep content fresh and culturally relevant.
Requirements11
- 12+ years of graphic design experience in an agency, brand, or sports/entertainment environment.
- 2Strong portfolio showcasing digital, social, and brand design work.
- 3Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- 4Experience designing for social platforms with best practices for Instagram and TikTok.
- 5Ability to turn data and sports information into visually compelling infographics and layouts.
- 6Expert understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling.
- 7Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.
- 8Flexibility to work nontraditional hours during peak seasons like NFL Draft and playoffs.
- 9Strong knowledge of the NFL, college football, and sports culture.
- 10Proficiency in Google Suite, Keynote, Slack, and Box.
- 11Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
