What You'll Do11
- 1Build nutrition-focused physical assessments and evaluate anthropometric status to identify nutrition risks and high-risk health behaviors
- 2Offer nutrition interventions education counseling and referrals using evidence based techniques reflecting health literacy and cultural sensitivity
- 3Place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies as needed
- 4Provide counseling and education promoting optimal outcomes through tailored nutrition plans
- 5Supervise practice experience for dietetic interns technicians registration eligible dietitians and new employees participate in research performance improvement initiatives
- 6Enter accurate electronic health record documentation and nutrition orders authorized by Medical Staff
- 7Participate in patient care rounds collaborate with physicians nurses and allied health professionals to develop nutrition plans
- 8Promote evidence based nutrition care and support foodservice areas
- 9Respond promptly to internal electronic communications
- 10Search the web for nutrition research update reference materials and apply knowledge to presentations and education
- 11Review and update resources when applicable
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2General knowledge of nutrient analysis word processing basic computer skills email and spreadsheet software
- 3Ability to search the web for nutrition research and apply knowledge to updating reference materials preparing for presentations and education
- 4Reviews and updates resource/reference materials when applicable or required
- 5Identifies patient or staff needs creates educational materials evaluates outcomes
- 6Assures care delivered aligns with established standards
- 7Skills in working with electronic health record systems
- 8Provides appropriate interventions according to patient goals
- 9Reassesses and updates nutrition care processes implementing changes as indicated
- 10Uses equipment appropriate for patient age groups
