What You'll Do6
- 1Perform preventive maintenance on medium and heavy duty fleet vehicles using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- 2Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on engines, brakes, and transmissions to restore vehicle reliability.
- 3Conduct safety inspections to verify compliance with DOT standards and company policies.
- 4Document all repairs and completed work orders in the fleet maintenance system to track vehicle history.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized work area, including personal tools and toolbox inventory.
- 6Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize urgent repairs and minimize fleet downtime.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- 2Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
- 3Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- 4Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
- 5Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a shop environment.
- 6Meet physical demands including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
