DevSecOps Senior Lead Architect
Overview
You will own the industry-standard CI/CD reference architecture for containerized and on-premises VM-hosted patterns, setting tool-integration standards for the full security and quality toolchain. You will drive technical relationships and strategy across teams, scaling deployment pipelines to support thousands of daily builds. What You'll Do7
- 1Design the CI/CD reference architecture for containerized and VM-based workloads, making build, test, and deploy repeatable and secure.
- 2Establish integration standards for SAST, DAST, and SCA tools, ensuring consistent security validation across all pipelines.
- 3Drive adoption of GitOps practices to manage infrastructure and application deployments through version-controlled repositories.
- 4Lead the migration of legacy pipelines to Jenkins and GitHub Actions, reducing build times by 30% within the first quarter.
- 5Build a self-service platform for developers to provision Kubernetes clusters and deploy microservices, cutting onboarding time from days to hours.
- 6Collaborate with security teams to embed CIS benchmarks and NIST compliance checks into the pipeline, automating evidence collection.
- 7Mentor junior engineers on DevSecOps principles and Cloud architecture, fostering a culture of shared ownership.
Requirements7
- 18+ years in DevOps or SRE roles, with at least 3+ years leading DevSecOps architecture.
- 2Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes and Helm, including cluster design, network policies, and RBAC.
- 3Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions, including pipeline-as-code patterns.
- 4Strong scripting skills in Python or Go for automation and tooling.
- 5Deep knowledge of AWS or Azure services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and AKS or EKS.
- 6Experience integrating security tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, or Snyk into CI/CD pipelines.
- 7Proven ability to design and communicate reference architectures to senior stakeholders.
