DevOps Engineer, Python & Terraform
Overview
Own the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure automation for a hybrid team in Austin. You will replace legacy scripts with Terraform and Ansible, reduce deployment friction, and harden identity management using Vault. The stack runs on Unix/Linux with deep networking visibility. What You'll Do8
- 1Build Concourse CI/CD pipelines that cut release cycles from hours to minutes.

- 5Debug Unix/Linux kernel and networking issues, from filesystem errors to TCP/IP failures.
- 6Drive adoption of SDN principles, ensuring secure network segmentation in production.
- 7Ship observability dashboards that track pipeline health and deployment success.
- 8Lead migration of legacy monitoring to modern, containerized infrastructure.
Requirements7
- 15-8+ years in DevOps or SRE roles with hands-on Python scripting.
- 2Expert-level Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning.
- 3Deep knowledge of Concourse CI/CD or similar pipeline tools.
- 4Experience securing services with Vault and identity management.
- 5Strong grasp of Unix/Linux internals, including filesystems and system calls.
- 6Solid networking background: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and SDN concepts.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
