Overview
Leading health tech company seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and develop infrastructure solutions ensuring scalability high availability and cost efficiency for cloud based services. This full time remote position requires expertise in AWS microservices serverless deployments CI CD pipelines monitoring alerting disaster recovery and security.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and manage cloud infrastructure for scalability high availability and cost efficiency
- 2Design and implement Infrastructure as Code driven deployments for cloud native services enabling automated continuous deployments across staging test and production environments
- 3Proven experience in AWS microservices and serverless deployments
- 4Maintain efficient CI CD pipelines using Jenkins ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
- 5Own monitoring and alerting flows ensure general observability metrics and maintainability of critical services
- 6Implement disaster recovery and backup restore strategies
- 7Strengthen AWS infrastructure security by managing WAF KMS keys Secrets Manager SSL TLS certificates IAM CloudTrail logs
- 8Contribute to system reliability including being on call
- 9Document cloud infrastructure and associated processes
- 10Integrate ML workflows into standard CI CD systems
- 11Build or integrate OAuth OIDC flows
Requirements15
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 23-5 years combined Software Engineering DevOps experience with at least 2 years focused on running and maintaining cloud deployed SaaS applications
- 3Strong collaboration skills product passion and deep care for growth learning and impactful technical work
- 4Self motivated proactive go getter mentality
- 5Broad knowledge of software engineering concepts practices and procedures for product and solution development and deployment at scale
- 6Experience with user authentication and authorization technologies and general security practices including JWT OAuth Open Policy Agent IAM Roles
- 7Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes container technologies and major Internet protocols HTTP DNS TCP IP routing
- 8Solid foundation in AWS services including EKS EC2 Lambda API Gateway S3 DynamoDB RDS Route 53 CloudWatch
- 9Expertise with at least one IaC tool such as CloudFormation Terraform CDK
- 10Experience with Datadog or Prometheus Grafana ELK Loki
- 11Bonus points for AWS CDK TypeScript Java Python and AWS Solutions Constructs
- 12Experience deploying ML/AI workloads batch real time inference and supporting LLM based systems prompt pipelines RAG embeddings
- 13Ability to integrate ML workflows into standard CI CD systems GitHub Actions CodePipeline
- 14Familiarity with OAuth OIDC authentication authorization RBAC ACLs and OPA
- 15Work experience in healthcare with awareness of HIPAA regulations regarding patient data ingestion processing storage and serving
