Overview
Own the Tennessee fundraising market for the National Kidney Foundation, driving annual revenue through Walk and Distinguished events. Report directly to the Executive Director and manage a portfolio of corporate, individual, and foundation relationships. Collaborate with the TN team to execute fundraising strategies and steward high-level volunteers. This role stands out for its focus on peer-to-peer fundraising and event leadership in kidney health.
What You'll Do10
- 1Recruit and manage executive leadership volunteers and committees to drive fundraising events.
- 2Secure corporate partnerships and sponsorships to meet revenue goals for Kidney Walks and Distinguished events.
- 3Build and steward a portfolio of corporate, individual, and foundation donors to maximize funding.
- 4Create and execute fundraising strategies to grow annual revenue beyond events.
- 5Oversee event planning, budgeting, and evaluation to ensure successful outcomes.
- 6Deliver high-touch donor stewardship and high customer service to all constituents.
- 7Present to businesses and community groups to recruit teams, volunteers, and sponsors.
- 8Ensure accurate revenue projections and provide financial analysis for market events.
- 9Drive donor-centric partnerships to support market events and prioritized initiatives.
- 10Comply with NKF policies including employment, risk management, and financial controls.
Requirements9
- 17+ years demonstrated leadership in peer-to-peer fundraising and volunteer management.
- 2Proven track record in multi-functional fundraising including special and walk events.
- 3Experience in corporate engagement and campaigns.
- 4Ability to manage budgets and meet revenue goals.
- 5Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- 6Ability to multitask and achieve results in a team environment.
- 7Outcome-driven with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- 8Must have a valid driver's license and be available for travel.
- 9Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work evenings/weekends as needed.
Salary Insight
$77 - $154k per year
