Developer Solution Architect, Data Pipeline & Cloud
Overview
You will own the technical evaluation and adoption of a new developer-focused data pipeline service, driving hands-on POCs and pilot programs with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. You will lead developer onboarding, serve as the technical advisor during evaluation, and act as the voice of the developer to shape early-stage product direction. You will work with the Incubation team, a cross-functional group collaborating with Product Management, Developer Services, and Go-to-Market stakeholders. This role offers direct influence on product roadmap and early developer success, with 50% travel to industry events and partner sites.
What You'll Do8
- 1Drive the evaluation and adoption of a new developer-focused data pipeline service, guiding prospects through setup, testing, and early production use.
- 2Build and run hands-on proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot programs to accelerate time-to-value for developers using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 3Serve as the technical advisor during the evaluation phase, resolving friction points and improving onboarding flows and documentation.
- 4Act as the voice of the developer by identifying gaps and opportunities across the developer journey, then delivering structured feedback to Product and Leadership teams.
- 5Develop reusable technical assets such as reference architectures, scripts, and sample implementations for API integration and data pipeline workflows.
- 6Support developer workshops and technical enablement initiatives, partnering with Go-to-Market teams to create demos and proof points for ISVs and system integrators.
- 7Contribute to reporting on program progress, KPIs, and emerging opportunities, translating technical insights into executive-level summaries.
- 8Represent Axis at industry events, trade shows, and developer forums, showcasing the platform's capabilities and collecting market feedback.
Requirements9
- 17+ years of experience in cloud-based software development environments, with hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP expertise.
- 2Proficiency with APIs, data pipelines, and developer tools, demonstrated through past projects or roles.
- 3Experience supporting developer-facing products or services, such as SaaS platforms or API offerings.
- 4Strong analytical skills to differentiate true product gaps from feature requests, with a problem-solving mindset.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex technical systems to varied audiences.
- 6Ability to convert detailed technical feedback into executive-level insights for Product and Leadership teams.
- 7Self-motivated, collaborative, and outcome-oriented approach, comfortable in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 9Background in data services, computer vision, or AI/ML pipelines is preferred, as is experience with incubation initiatives.
