Overview
Amentum seeks a Designated Authorizing Official (DAO) 3 to lead RMF processes for secure systems. This role drives cybersecurity integration across architecture and operations. You will collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders to achieve compliance and operational excellence.
What You'll Do9
- 1Identify security requirements and implement controls for new and existing systems
- 2Perform risk assessments and drive remediation strategies
- 3Authorize systems through the RMF framework
- 4Integrate legacy systems into modern architectures
- 5Contribute to RDT&E processes and security-by-design initiatives
- 6Prepare security authorization documentation
- 7Facilitate communication between technical and executive teams
- 8Support deployment of cybersecurity controls in development lifecycles
- 9Maintain authority to operate compliance across assigned systems
Requirements6
- 1TS/SCI clearance with Poly level 3 minimum
- 2Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience
- 312 years of related security experience including IT Risk Assessment or DAO roles
- 4Expertise in system security design and defense-in-depth principles
- 5Compliance with DoD 8570.1 IAM Level III certification
- 6Understanding of ICD 503 and risk management frameworks

$175 - $220k per year
