What You'll Do11
- 1Assist the public and attorneys with Superior Court policies and procedures
- 2Schedule court cases and resolve filing inquiries
- 3Provide photocopies and microfiche copies of court records
- 4Collect and receive monies and file indictments and accusations
- 5Docket all criminal and civil pleadings in permanent record books
- 6Enter case information into computerized systems and verify accuracy
- 7Coordinate case information with external agencies as required
- 8Prepare case files for judges and attorneys and assist in jury management
- 9Document court outcomes and send certified copies to state agencies
- 10Attend jury and non-jury court sessions and maintain juror lists
- 11Process warrants and file Grand Jury presentments for media distribution
Requirements9
- 15+ years professional legal or paralegal experience
- 2Valid Georgia Driver’s License Class C and MVR
- 3Ability to sign and certify legal documents
- 4Knowledge of county court operations and applicable codes
- 5Proficiency in bookkeeping and Microsoft Office Suite
- 6Strong interpersonal skills for public and attorney interactions
- 7Experience with record transcription and database management
- 8Ability to work independently in high-volume environments
- 9Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct
