You will own patient care at a family-focused dental practice in Chicago, performing prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and radiographs for 4-5 days per week. With Eaglesoft experience helpful, you will manage the full hygiene cycle from patient welcome to record keeping. What You'll Do8
- 1Welcome patients and prepare them for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- 2Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for each procedure.
- 3Sterilize instruments according to regulations, maintaining a clean and stocked dental room.
- 4Perform dental hygiene duties including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, radiographs, and intraoral photos.
- 5Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- 6Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records, assisting with payment procedures when needed.
- 7Undertake lab tasks as instructed by the dentist.
- 8Apply health & safety regulations to every patient interaction and instrument handling.
Requirements8
- 1Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of IL, required.
- 22+ years experience as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting.
- 3Hands-on knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- 4Understanding of health & safety regulations and infection control.
- 5Proficiency with Eaglesoft software for scheduling and records.
- 6Strong communication and people skills for patient-centered care.
- 7Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- 8Reliability and a team-oriented mindset, available 4-5 days per week.
Salary Insight
$83 - $94k per year
