What You'll Do7
- 1Perform thorough cleanings including scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar
- 2Take and develop X-rays for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- 3Conduct patient assessments via medical history review and vital signs evaluation
- 4Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- 5Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques during exams and procedures
- 6Maintain detailed EHR records in Eaglesoft or Dentrix with HIPAA compliance
- 7Follow infection prevention protocols and sterilize equipment
Requirements6
- 15+ years building hygiene services
- 2Certified in pediatric dentistry
- 3Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- 4Valid licensure and current certification
- 5Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical coding
- 6Experience in general or pediatric dentistry
Salary Insight
$110 - $131k per year
