What You'll Do11
- 1Welcome and prepare patients for treatments ensuring comfort and address concerns
- 2Set up instruments and equipment for dental procedures
- 3Assist dentist during 4-handed dentistry and maintain room readiness
- 4Follow sterilization procedures to sanitize instruments
- 5Perform lab tasks and provide post-operative care instructions
- 6Maintain accurate patient records and handle payments
- 7Support scheduling and keep the dental room organized
- 8Execute coronal polishing when certified and follow local regulations
- 9Operate Open Dental software as preferred
- 10Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- 11Communicate effectively with patients to ensure clarity and comfort
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 2 years dental assisting experience
- 2Dental Assistant Certification required
- 3Experience with sterilization methods and infection control
- 4Familiarity with dental instruments and procedures
- 5Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- 6Proficiency with dental practice management software
- 7Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- 8Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
