What You'll Do19
- 1Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations and procedures
- 2Take good quality digital radiographs and CBCT scans
- 3Accurately document patient information and treatment notes in the electronic health record
- 4Create a calm comfortable experience for patients
- 5Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to OSHA standards
- 6Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness for each patient
- 7Monitor inventory and order supplies
- 8Collaborate with dental and front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- 9Assist during downtime with team members
- 10Have 2 years of experience as a chairside assistant in a dental office
- 11Maintain current BLS certification
- 12Complete an 8 hour board approved infection control course
- 13Write clear and accurate patient documentation
- 14Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control protocols
- 15Proficiency with dental software and equipment
- 16Professional appearance with neat grooming and appropriate scrubs and footwear
- 17Reliable attendance and ability to manage multiple tasks in a clinical setting
- 18Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- 19Manual dexterity for handling dental instruments
Requirements8
- 1Minimum of 2 years of experience as a chairside assistant in a dental office
- 2Certified to take x-rays
- 3Current BLS certification
- 4Completion of an 8 hour board approved infection control course
- 5Provide documentation for required certifications and Form I-9
- 6License/Certification: BLS license
- 7X-Ray Certification
- 8Work location: In person
