Dental Assistant in cosmetic and general dentistry Phoenix
Overview
This role supports dentists during procedures, manages patient flow, and upholds infection control and confidentiality in a fast paced cosmetic and general dental setting. You will assist with a range of clinical procedures and operate imaging tools to support diagnoses. You will contribute to a welcoming patient experience while developing your skills in a high end practice.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and prep treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and organize instruments to enable efficient procedures
- 2Take high quality dental x rays and operate 3D scanners to support diagnoses
- 3Chairside assist using four handed dentistry to improve procedure efficiency and patient comfort
- 4Support dentists during general and cosmetic procedures to ensure safety and quality care
- 5Coordinate with front desk and healthcare professionals to maintain smooth patient flow and documentation
Requirements5
- 1Experience in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental assisting practices and medical documentation standards
- 2Ability to operate dental equipment including X ray machines and 3D scanners
- 3Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with team and provide patient care
- 4Certification in X ray technology or radiography or willingness to obtain through on the job training
- 5On site eligibility to work and willingness to commit to a paid position in Phoenix
