Overview
You will own product delivery, installation, and customer account management for a leading rent-to-own retailer, serving 30-35 hours weekly with every Sunday off. You will drive routes across San Diego, set up merchandise, and handle customer interactions that directly impact retention. What You'll Do8
- 1Complete customer service calls for delivery and setup of merchandise, ensuring proper installation at each stop.
- 2Install and set up products like furniture, electronics, and appliances, using basic hand tools and following safety guidelines.
- 3Manage customer accounts by collecting payments, resolving billing issues, and updating account records with a mobile device.
- 4Build rapport with customers by explaining product features and rental terms, turning service calls into repeat business.
- 5Load and unload delivery truck, verifying inventory against orders to reduce errors and returns.
- 6Navigate routes using GPS and map apps to maximize on-time arrivals across the San Diego metro.
- 7Inspect returned items for damage and restock returned inventory.
- 8Collaborate with store team to schedule deliveries and communicate order status.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
- 2Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- 3Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- 4Comfort using smartphones and basic inventory software.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with store open-close hours.
- 7Customer-facing experience with conflict resolution skills.
