Overview
You own the final leg of the Domino's experience: delivering hot, accurate orders to customers across Salt Lake City. You'll drive a reliable insured vehicle, navigate diverse terrain, and ensure every order arrives on time with a smile. You'll work alongside a tight-knit store team, handling in-store prep, phone orders, and cleaning between runs. This role demands physical stamina and sharp navigation skills, but you'll gain customer service mastery and a clear path to advancement in a fast-paced food service environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver pizzas and sides to customers' doors within a designated area using your own insured vehicle, ensuring hot and accurate orders.
- 2Process telephone and in-person orders, inputting them into the POS system and handling cash and card transactions with accuracy.
- 3Prepare food products by stretching dough, applying sauce and toppings, and operating the pizza oven per Domino's standards.
- 4Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler, rotating stock to maintain freshness.
- 5Maintain a spotless store: clean equipment, surfaces, and facilities daily, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters.
- 6Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, to complete deliveries efficiently and safely.
- 7Balance deliveries with in-store tasks like answering phones, taking orders, and assisting with prep during rush periods.
- 8Track and restock inventory, completing paperwork accurately to support store operations.
- 9Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring compliance with health codes and company policies.
Requirements10
- 1Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- 2Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
- 3Ability to pass a background check and driving record review.
- 41+ year of delivery driving experience preferred, but not required.
- 5Strong navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses, and handle challenges like multi-story buildings.
- 6Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and make correct change.
- 7Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 7.5 pounds of force.
- 8Comfort working in varying temperatures, from 36°F cooler to 90°F+ work areas, and outdoors in all weather.
- 9Physical endurance to stand for long shifts, walk, climb stairs (up to 5+ flights), bend, reach, and kneel.
- 10Excellent verbal communication skills for phone and in-person interactions with customers and team members.
