Overview
You will own the last mile for a high-volume Domino's franchise in Centerville, delivering 5-10 pizzas per shift across a compact delivery zone. You will join a team of 10-15 drivers and insiders, reporting to a shift manager who started as a driver. This role offers flexible night and weekend hours, plus a clear path to Assistant Manager and General Manager roles.
What You'll Do10
- 1Load pizza bags and drink carriers into your vehicle, checking orders against receipts before departure.
- 2Drive a safe, insured car to customer addresses within a 5-mile radius, using GPS or paper maps to navigate.
- 3Deliver orders door-to-door, climbing 5+ flights of stairs when needed, and collect cash or card payments.
- 4Assemble boxes, place pizzas in heat bags, and stock soda cups and parm packets at the make line.
- 5Operate the POS touchscreen to enter orders, process payments, and mark deliveries complete.
- 6Clean the make line, cooler, and oven surfaces between rushes, following food safety guidelines.
- 7Unload bulk deliveries of ingredients and supplies, stacking cases up to 50 pounds on shelves.
- 8Take phone orders, answer customer questions, and resolve delivery issues with a calm tone.
- 9Assist with inventory counts and daily paperwork, reconciling cash drawer at shift end.
- 10Cross-train on make line and cut table during slow periods to support the team.
Requirements9
- 118+ years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- 22+ years of licensed driving experience, including night driving.
- 3Access to a reliable, insured vehicle with valid registration and auto insurance.
- 4Valid Food Handler Permit for Utah.
- 5Ability to read maps and navigate multi-story buildings, private homes, and commercial sites.
- 6Physical capacity to lift 50 pounds, carry 30-pound sauce trays, and climb 5+ flights of stairs.
- 7Basic math skills to handle cash and make change accurately.
- 8Verbal and written communication skills to process phone and in-person orders.
- 9Comfort working in temperatures from 36°F cooler to 90°F+ near ovens.
