Overview
As a Delivery Driver on our Manhattan team, you'll own the safe and efficient delivery of packages using a company-provided Box Truck or Stepvan. You'll coordinate with dispatch and foot messengers to clear the day's route, handling 50 lbs totes and navigating busy city streets. This role stands out for its consistent 7-day availability, paid training, and immediate start, with no CDL required.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage 6-foot messengers delivering packages in Manhattan, coordinating handoffs and location updates.
- 2Communicate with dispatch and foot messengers to ensure complete delivery of all packages across the team.
- 3Lift and load 50 lbs totes into the Stepvan, and unload them for walkers at delivery points.
- 4Safely operate your delivery vehicle at all times, following traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- 5Use handheld devices for routing and customer delivery information, updating status in real time.
- 6Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area, adapting to traffic and weather conditions.
- 7Work in varying weather conditions, maintaining a positive attitude and customer focus.
- 8Deliver packages with a 'customer obsessed' mindset, ensuring a positive interaction at every stop.
Requirements7
- 121+ years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
- 2Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- 3No CDL required; company vehicle provided.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 lbs per tote.
- 5Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
- 6Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 7Flexible availability for shifts between 7 am and 6 pm, including weekends.
