Overview
Palantir seeks a Deal Team professional to lead commercial negotiations driving impact through strategic partnerships. This role shapes how customers receive our technology solutions by crafting tailored commercial structures and managing complex contracts. You will partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and company strategy while delivering measurable outcomes.
What You'll Do9
- 1Collaborate with Sales counterparts to develop pricing terms and commercial structure for each commercial customer
- 2Lead negotiations of commercial terms during the contracting process
- 3Draft materials in support of deal negotiations including pricing proposals term sheets and order forms
- 4Advise the business on commercial structure implications including revenue impact and timing
- 5Cooperate with internal Legal Finance Sales and Engineering teams to drive deals to execution
- 6Ensure alignment of individual deal terms with company-wide strategy
- 7Partner with Finance team to provide leadership with visibility of deal progress and forecasting impact
- 8Present results of work and proposals for new deals to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives
- 9Distill customer experiences into suggestions for improving deal structures and contract terms
Requirements6
- 15+ years of commercial contracting drafting or partnership negotiation experience
- 2Experience negotiating SaaS or other technology agreements preferred
- 3Master of Business Administration MBA or Juris Doctor JD degree
- 4Strong program project management skills handling multiple competing priorities
- 5Ability to work outside standard business hours as needed
- 6Adaptive empathetic and introspective mindset willing to learn teach lead and follow
